A Message
from Peter Kimber
Hello and good morning Canada, it's great to be home
and I owe it all to you. Through all the tough times
and horrible problems my family and I endured with my
imprisonment, the thing that kept me going was the thought
of returning to Canada and my family and friends. The
list of people that helped in my release is extremely
lengthy and to be perfectly honest difficult to remember
all the names. With thousands of people who showed nothing
less than heart filled sympathy and compassion for my
children, and immense concern for my health and well
being, I can't thank you all enough for your efforts,
hard work and dedication.
As you may have heard me say
on t.v., radio or the newspapers, what these heartless
people that masquerade as a government in Mexico did
to me is nothing in comparison to how they treat their
own people. The indecent acts of torture and cruelty
are extremely difficult to explain. When someone can
take your life or the life of a loved one and play with
it like a guinea pig in the hands of a thoughtless child,
when the animal dies the child would merely cast it
aside. Welcome to the Mexican legal system. It's no
different when they squeeze everything possible out
of you, they'll have no problem asking for more and
when you can't provide more, that will be your problem.
No leniency or compassion will be shown, absolutely
no remorse or respect for human life or human rights
exists with these deranged people
I am asking everyone who has
ever had a problem in Mexico, large or small. If you
have ever had to pay an official or bribe your way out
of a problem or jail please contact me at peter.kimber@yahoo.com
and explain your situation. When we have compiled a
long enough list, it is my intention to present it to
the Canadian government. We can't change the law in
Mexico, but we do have the power to make the Canadian
government open its eyes and provide our people with
proper information about traveling in Mexico and exactly
what dangers await us there. Applying a travel advisory
is a good thing but let's face it; this type of warning
is for a possible snow storm, for that we can prepare
by wearing boots and coats - what is needed for when
your kidnapped and extorted?
In my own personal case, these
are the facts and I'm just one of thousands of cases
per year in Mexico. t
Thank you all very much. I will
be adding updates more regularly now that I am home.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated as well as needed
to make a change for the better and safety of all people
in general.
